How do guests add their photos?
Guests scan the QR code on a table card, sign, or invitation. The camera opens in their browser, and each shot goes into the event album as it is taken. There is no separate upload step afterwards.
Do guests need to install an app or create an account?
No. PicBunch runs in a mobile browser on iPhone and Android. Scanning the code opens the event, with no guest account or contact-list import.
How do guests see the photos afterwards?
They return through the same QR code or event link. Once the host has opened the album, it appears there. The host can also resend that link through their usual channels; PicBunch does not automatically message participants.
When does the album become visible?
The host chooses one of three modes: show photos immediately as they upload, publish when photo collection ends, or keep the album private until the host publishes it manually.
We have both iPhone and Android guests. Does that matter?
No. PicBunch is a web page rather than an iCloud-only album, so guests on recent iPhone and Android browsers can use the same event camera and album link.
The venue's signal is weak. Will we lose photos?
Each shot is saved on the guest's device before upload. If the connection drops, PicBunch retries when it returns. Guests should keep the event page open until each shot is shown as uploaded.
Can we control which photos appear in the album?
Yes. With an end-of-collection or manual reveal, hosts can review and hide photos before publishing. In immediate mode, visible photos appear as they upload, and hosts can hide them afterwards. Hosts can also set a shot limit in each guest browser.
How is this different from renting a photo booth?
A booth creates a dedicated photo spot, often with a backdrop, props, and prints. PicBunch uses guests' phones across the whole venue and gathers those different angles in one browser-based album. Some events use both for different jobs.
How is it different from disposable cameras on the tables?
Disposable cameras use film that must be collected, developed, and scanned. PicBunch uses guests' phones and can keep the album sealed for a later reveal, but hosts can also choose an immediate album.
Who can see the album?
Anyone with the event link can reach it, and hosts can add an event passcode for another check. The album is not a searchable public feed, but guests can forward a link, so share it only with the intended group. Hosts can regenerate the link to invalidate the old one, or delete the event later.
